The Yabu Pushelberg collection for Pampaloni celebrates the spirit and duality of the collaboration between George Yabu and Glenn Pushelberg.
Alternating between rational and intuitive, linear and tangential – it is this interchangeability of their individual roles that, in unison, is distinctive.
Thoughtful and articulate, the collection is inspired by the liquid beauty of silver and draws upon the sea as metaphor. It is the genesis of life, and is both flowing and changing. Like the fluidity of material and form, and the ondulati creative processes that define them.
Manmade sea elements: speaks to human interfaces with the sea, as refined objects that are modern, romantic and rational.
Sea Creatures: express a more organic, flowing and intuitive sensibility. Witty and hand drawn, they are informed by the odd and extraordinary environment of the sea.
