“The Human Folly”

“The inhabitant of Utopia prized gold and silver less than they prized iron; for without iron, fire and water life would be impossible. The same cannot be said of gold and silver which are only valuable in relation to their rarity, a concept invented by human folly.”

Fool is he who does not adhere to universally recognised values and needs, fool is he who desires the precious metal because it is rare; we dedicate the limited collections to this foolish man because they are made of silver and conceived to be desired, not just used.
